WYP has been appointed to master plan a number of high tech zones in China

WYP’s bold approach to embed the garden city vision with smart city and sponge city principles has led to a number of recent master plan commissions on high-tech development zones.

This approach has been developed through the practice’s comprehensive research and practical work, such as the Wolfson Economic Prize Finalist submission and the Bao’shan Business Park in Shanghai. WYP’s conceptual master plan for the latter did not only secure £3 Billion investment in just two years, but also ignite an ambitious revitalisation of the surrounding region.
