Dr Wei Yang spoke at the launch event of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) funded report, Progressing Eco-city Policies into Mainstream Practice in China. The speech reported the Practice’s key findings expressed in the Urban Design and Planning Chapter of the report.
The project was funded by the FCO Prosperity SPF. With growing expertise in sustainable development in China, Wei Yang & Partners was invited to sit on the Steering Group of the FCO funded project, and jointly led the masterplanning and urban design workstream.
The purpose of the FCO’s Prosperity Fund is to support projects which enable the UK to meet its foreign policy priority of creating the conditions for sustainable global growth and development.
