Dr Wei Yang spoke at PlanTech Conference in London

Organised by the Connected Places Catapult, PlanTech Week 2019 took place in London between 17 and 19 September 2019. The conference provided a 360-degree view of digital transformation in the built environment and mobility sectors. The conference also explored and showcased innovations in land use and transport planning.
Dr Wei Yang’s speech ‘PlanTech – much more can be achieved’ was delivered on the first day of the conference focusing on innovations in the land use planning system.
Wei said,
“The PlanTech development should be ‘Purpose-Oriented, Solution-Oriented and Operation-Oriented’.
The scope of the PlanTech should not be limited to the current planning system framework. More innovations should be encouraged to think outside the box.”
