Dr Wei Yang joins the Advisory Council of London Futures 2050
13 Oct 2020
Dr Yang joined the first Advisory Council meeting of London Futures review today. Led by Centre for London, the programme is a once in a generation opportunity to take a long term, strategic approach to the future of London.
Over the next year, Centre for London will work with partners to create a shared vision with Londoners of the London they want to see. It will examine the state of London today, explore different scenarios for London’s future and involve Londoners in creating a new shared vision for the city.
Dr Yang commented “As a member of the Advisory Council, I look forward to working with Centre for London and with leaders from across London, including the Mayor, London’s boroughs, national government, businesses, universities, charities and community groups to discuss a holistic strategy to shape London’s future to 2050 and beyond.”
