Wei Yang & Partners advise Chinese Ministry on Sustainable Development of Small Towns

Wei Yang & Partners has been awarded with the UK FCO Prosperity Fund to develop a Technical Manual for Green & Low-Carbon Development of Small Towns in China. The Prosperity Fund is the FCO’s dedicated annual fund supporting prosperity work overseas. Through targeted projects, it aims to support the conditions for global and UK growth: Openness, Sustainability, Opportunity and Reputation.

The objective of the Technical Manual project is to strengthen the capacity of China Ministry of Housing & Urban Rural Development (MoHURD), as well as local decision makers’ understanding on green & low-carbon planning methodologies and technologies for small towns in China. The project is officially launched at MoHURD on 8th May 2015.
